The best lasagne in my life! Ragu alla bolonese was also amazing, not mentioning the cheesecake, it was exquisite 👌😋. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! It is the best place to eat in whole Messina.

We were seated on the street of messina and had the options of a variety of dishes , almost like a build-your-own pasta .
We opted for the carbonara.
I must say it was the best carbonara I have eaten . Delicious creamy sauce and the guanciale was excellent and crispy .
Obviously the pasta was “al dente” as were are in Italy but maybe abit too al dente lol .
The service was good , the ladies at the bar were polite and welcoming and spoke very good English .
Food : 9/10

Unbelievable food, Lasagna was a highlight. Tomato sauce was so fresh, inexpensive food but great quality. Would recommend and one of my favourite Italian restaurants I've been to

Fantastico! Stopped in since it was so close to our cruise port and it was the highlight of Messina. When fumbling through the Italian menu, the server graciously offered us a menu in English. She gave her recommendations and we ultimately gave the chef choice in the pasta he would serve us. It was all amazing! The pasta was so fresh, perfectly cooked, and all the flavors came together so well. The meatballs were crispy on the outside and so tender and flavorful on the inside. We decided to finish off with dessert and it did not disappoint! The cheesecake with caramel was *chefs kiss*. The cheesecake itself was not too sweet, dense, with perfect buttery/sugary gram cracker crumbles on the bottom with the dark sweet caramel on top. You always had a perfect bite with every scoop. The tiramisu was the best we’ve ever had with all the layers melding perfectly. If you are a local, a visitor staying in the area, or a cruise ship passenger, this place is an absolute must stop for a bite to eat. They just opened June 1, 2023 so catch it before it becomes too busy. You will not be disappointed!- Servizio

Pasta was great and staff is really sweet. The Carbonara was rich, creamy and very eggy. The Pistacchio pasta was equally delicious, especially with the added Straciatella. Only thing I could wish for is proper plates and cutlery, as eating out of the take away boxes gives it a more low level feel than this place would deserve. Grazie mille!

Carbonara, fantastic. Washrooms were cleanest we have seen in Italy, service was wonderful, and the food was amazing. Prices were so low for the amount of food and high quality.plave was super busy and lots of locals eating there as it's that good. Sat outside along street for an amazing experience. As a tourist, Dont let the paper plates and quickservice atmosphere keep you from trying this place. Very reasonably priced and fantastic food. I think this is the best carbonara you will get on the go in italy.

Very tasty pasta! We have tried the local one with aubergines and the one with pistachios. Absolutely amazing food. The staff were friendly. One minor inconvenience is the absence of a toilet.

Excellent pasta - cute little place just next to the main square. The staff are very nice and accommodating, would have loved to try out their desserts too but they were all sold out which continues to show how in demand they are 😊 Definitely worth a visit if you are in Messina, a carbonara worthy of the gods themselves 😘
